Kenny Bräck is a retired Swedish racing driver born on March 29, 1966, in Eskilstuna, Sweden. He started his racing career in karting in 1984 before moving up to Formula Ford and then Formula 3. In 1996, he moved to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights series, where he won the championship in his first year.
Bräck then moved up to the IndyCar Series, where he won the championship in 1998 and the Indianapolis 500 in 1999. He also competed in the CART series and won five races in his career.
In 2003, Bräck suffered a horrific crash at the Texas Motor Speedway, which ended his racing career. He suffered multiple injuries, including a broken back and pelvis.
After his retirement from racing, Bräck became a successful entrepreneur and started his own company, Bräck Motorsport. He also worked as a test driver for Pagani Automobili and was involved in the development of the Pagani Zonda sports car.
Bräck currently lives in Monaco with his wife and children.
